In the older part all the residents came from La Organizacion de Carteros Rurales de España – Rural Postmen of Spain and members were able to buy a house for their family vacations. A covenant on building here existed and determined that plots were all of a minimum of 500² meters in size, hence it is now considered one of the prestigious areas of the town.
