Spanish companies on Internet

Only half of Spanish companies are using the Internet in their work. Only 5% have a web page for their goods or services and only 1 in 4 have digitalised their internal organisation. In Germany, UK, Ireland and Sweden more than 40% of businesses have their own web page. Even some of the new member states in the European Union, including Estonia, Poland, The Czech Republic and Slovakia are ahead of Spanish companies in this field.
There are 800 million users of the Internet. 295,4 million are communicating in
English, or 35,20% of the total. The Chinese occupy a very honourable second spot, with 110 million users and 13,70% of the totality.
Spanish is the third language used, by 72 million or 9,00% of the total. Japanese comes fourth, with 67,1 million and 8,40% of the total.
German, 55,3 million users, and 6,90% of totality, is fourth. French comes fifth with 33,9 million users and 4,20%.
