Our busy street market is on Wednesdays and it's a great place to pick up a bargain, get some vegetables or garden plants, meet friends, and most importantly see how well a typical Spanish pueblo functions in the chaos of blocked roads! Although we have to say that long-gone are the days when farmers came to sell their produce: a friend of ours who first moved to San Miguel de Salinas 15 years ago remembers the small tractors from the campo, parked up in the streets on market days. Now all the farmers have Mercedes and leave it to the street traders who 'do' a different market everyday! If you miss ours this is where you can catch them!

Wednesday/ Miércoles - Algorfa, Guardamar, La Mata and of course San Miguel de Salinas

Friday/ Viernes - Torrevieja, Los Montesinos(afternoon), Pilar de la Horadada(Evening)
Saturday/ Sábado - Playa Flamenca, Santa Pola, Almoradi
Sunday/ Domingo - Campo de Guardamar, Algorfa, Urb la Marina, Zoco near Quesada

TELEFONICA don't really deserve a special mention on this website, as any expat will agree, but you were spoilt in the UK with BT doing in three DAYS what TELEFONICA can't even guarantee in three YEARS! We wonder what a bit of competition would do to shake them up!
