ADVICE FOR THE PROTECTION OF YOUR HOME AGAINST THEFTS
When you leave your house for a short time you should take the following precautions:
Put locks on all doors and windows. If you have an alarm , connect it.

Leave the radio, television or an interior light
turned on. And do not close the window shutters completely.

Do not keep a lot of money, jewellery or other small objects of great value in the house.

Make a detailed list of cameras, videos, TVs and other appliances of value, noting the brand, model and serial number, to facilitate its
identification in the event of theft.

Contract a theft insurance policy for your housing.

If a robbery occurs in your home, tell the neighbours of the fact and
ask if they saw some person or suspicious vehicle around at the time of the
robbery. If you obtain any useful information communicate it to the Police, it would be helpful.

If you have knowledge of a theft or attempted theft tell the police immediately.
When you leave your house for a longer period,
take the following precautions:

Leave a house key with a neighbour or friend, with
your contact telephone number in your home country

Ask a friend to collect any letters and
advertising from your mailbox, and clean the dust from the door
from time of time.

Do not keep valuable objects in the house.
Call the Police if:

You observe any vehicle or strange person
marauding suspicionsly in
the street . Note the description of the person/s and the brand, colour and
registration of the vehicle.

If you hear noises or see lights on in an
unoccupied house.

When you call the Police it is sufficient to
indicate the name of the Urbanization, the street and the number
of the house.
