- In a meeting with The Mayor, Ángel Sáez Huertas, today he told us that
a new Bus service will be introduced providing routes from all the
Urbanizations to the Town Centre and back starting at the beginning of
July. The scheme will start with three scheduled times 8.30am, 11am and
12.30am on Wednesdays only and this will be extended to other times and
days if there proves to be demand. The Service will route through Ciudad
de las Comunicaciones, Eagles Nest, Blue Lagoon, Blue Hills, and El
Galan. He was very excited about the scheme and he wants feedback. If
residents use the service he promises to fulfil demand and vary the
times to suit. Cost of a ticket...1 euro any single journey.

INFORME DE ALCALDIA AYUNTAMIENTO DE SAN MIGUEL DE SALINAS
REPORT OF THE MAYOR OF SAN MIGUEL DE SALINAS
1. In April 2003 The Town Hall/Ayuntamiento de San Miguel de Salinas provisionally approved the GENERAL PLAN OF TOWN PLANNING and it was submitted, as required, to the Consellería de Urbanismo/Councillor for Town Planning in Valencia for its final approval.
2. Since that time the present Administration have worked to obtain final approval.
3. The present situation is as follows:
- On 18 April 2006 The Consellería made a statement of Environmental Impact - La Declaración de Impacto Ambiental.
- As a consequence the final percentage of urbanizable land has been reduced from 16 million square meters to 10 million meters, enlarging therefore the square meters of protected land.

4. The distribution and allocation of land, of the municipal total of 54.9 square kilometres, is now as follows:
-
Areas described as 'of common interest' (LIQ) that will remain protected amount to 11 million square meters, including the areas of The Sierra Escalona, The ‘Barranco del Lobo’ – The Ravine of the Wolf, The Rambla de la Fayona and the natural river beds - los cauces naturales de aguas.
-
Areas of agricultural land - 'paisagístico' are similarly protected and amount to an area of 9 million square meters.
-
Areas described as of 'ecologically' important land amounting to 11 million square meters.
-
Areas similar to those described as 'of common interest' - urbanizable land amounting to 5 million square meters.
-
Areas of land already urbanized amounting to 9 million square meters.
-
Land designated as protected forest amounting to 10 million square meters.
Once adaptations are completed to comply with the statement of environmental impact it the finished General Plan will be presented in the Consellería for final approval. This will be undertaken in a time limit of approximately two months.
The General Plan for San Miguel of Salinas designates the use of land for the future planning of the municipality.
Land suitable for building of residential character and urbanization is restricted to 25% of the total area , with plots and extensive parks and gardens that will result in an improvement of the quality of life for all of the residents in San Miguel of Salinas.
I am at the disposal of any resident of the municipality who may desire any explanation or further information in relation to this theme or with any another question relating to the municipal management.

Der Bürgermeister von San Miguel de Salinas informiert über den gültigen Bebauungsplan |
1. Im April 2003 hat die Gemeindeverwaltung von San Miguel de Salinas einen provisorischen Bebauungsplan bei der Landesregierung in Valencia eingereicht. Der von der Landesregierung genehmigte Plan liegt jetzt vor.
2. Zwischenzeitlich hat die Gemeindeverwaltung diesen Bebauungsplan mehrfach überarbeitet.
3. Zur Zeit besteht folgende Situation :
- Am 18.April 2006 erstellte die Gemeindeverwaltung ein Gutachten über die zu erwartende Umweltbeeinflussung.
- Als Konsequenz daraus wurden die zur Bebauung vorgesehenen Flächen von 16 Millionen qm auf 10 Millionen qm reduziert, die reduzierten Flächen wurden als „ Schutzzonen“ deklariert.
4. Die Gesamtgröße des Gemeindegebietes beträgt 54.9 qkm Die Verteilung des Gemeindegebietes sieht nun folgendermaßen aus :
- Die Größe der zu schützende Gebiete ( LIQ ) ( Sierra Escalona, Barranco del Lobo, Wolfsschlucht, Rambla de la Fayona, das natürliche Flussbett als Wassergebiet ) wird auf 11 Millionen qm festgelegt
- Landwirtschaftliche Flächen ( paisagistico ) werden ähnlich geschützt und betragen 9 Millionen qm
- Die Größe der ökologisch wertvollen Gebiete ( ecologically ) wird mit 11 Millionen qm festgelegt.
- Weitere zu bebauende Gebiete ( LIQ ) = 5 Millionen qm. Derzeit schon bebaute Gebiete = 9 Millionen qm.
- Das Land Valencia hat 10 Millionen qm als bewaldete Schutzgebiete festgelegt.
Sobald Anpassungen der Vorgaben der Landesregierung vorgenommen worden sind, wird der endgültige Bebauungsplan dem Gemeinderat zur Endabstimmung zugeleitet. Das wird ca. 2 Monate in Anspruch nehmen.
Der Bebauungsplan für San Miguel de Salinas bestimmt für die Zukunft die zur Bebauung freigegebenen Flächen. Geeignetes Bebauungsland für Urbanisationen etc. ist auf 25% der Gesamtfläche des Gemeindegebietes eingeschränkt. Dieses Land umfasst Grundstücke, Grünzonen, Parks, Gärten und Verbesserungen der Lebensqualität für San Miguels Bürger.
Ich stehe allen Gemeindemitgliedern für Anregungen, Vorschläge und Diskussionen bezüglich des Bebauungsplanes und anderer Gemeindethemen zur Verfügung.
